Presenter drives significant online traffic
Presenter
The challenge
This case comes from our archive. The campaign ran some time ago, but we still hear the question it answers from clients and media agencies: is the effect of DOOH really measured?
Presenter wanted to recruit new staff in a tight labour market, especially students and recent graduates. As a smaller organisation, Presenter had to spend its marketing budget as efficiently as possible. Every euro had to contribute to the goal: more visitors to the recruitment website.
The solution
Presenter ran a targeted recruitment campaign on CS Digital Media’s digital advertising networks in the Amsterdam and Rotterdam metro. Audience, location, timing and creative were all aligned:
- Location: the campaign appeared at metro stations near universities of applied sciences, where many students travel every day.
- Timing: the ads ran at the times when students were on the platforms.
- Creative: personal full-motion ads featuring real employees, on large digital screens, triple screens and LED walls [TO CHECK: correct names of the formats].
- Measurable: during the campaign period, the campaign ran only on CSDM’s networks. This made it possible to compare traffic on the recruitment website with the period before.
The result
During the campaign period, online traffic to Presenter’s recruitment website was significantly higher than in the comparison period before:
- 48% more page views
- 44% more unique page views
- 64% more entrances
Krispijn Smith, then marketing manager at Presenter: “DOOH can seem like an expensive and ineffective option for smaller organisations. But because CSDM can target so specifically within its network, we were able to use our budget more efficiently and increase the campaign’s return. The results exceeded all our expectations. DOOH made not only an enjoyable but also a measurable contribution to our recruitment campaign.”
